General Information

Under Delivery Times, you can find the countries we ship to and information about how long your package will take to arrive. Under Shipping Costs, you can find the current shipping costs depending on the weight of the package. For orders over €100, we offer free shipping within Germany via DPD Classic.

For business customers, we also offer self-collection.

Please ensure that you can receive your delivery on the day specified via email. If you provide the delivery service with an authorization to leave the package, we cannot assume liability for loss or thawing of goods after the package has been dropped off. The same applies to rerouting, address changes, delivery to parcel lockers, and similar scenarios.

If you refuse to accept the delivery, a total loss may occur. However, this does not exempt you from payment.

Delivery Times

We ship products on specific weekdays, which vary depending on the shipping method. These are listed below for each country.

To ensure your order is shipped on a shipping day, it must be ordered and paid for by the day before. For example, if Monday is a shipping day, payment must be received by 11:59 PM on Sunday for the order to be shipped on Monday. (If the order or payment is received early Monday morning, it may also be shipped on the same day, depending on workload.)

Note: For DPD Express and GO! Express, the package must be personally accepted. Drop-off authorization is not possible.

Note: For DPD Express, the package must be personally accepted. Drop-off authorization is not possible.

For island deliveries, we cannot guarantee that goods will arrive frozen. We guarantee a cold chain of 3-4 days, but shipping to some islands takes longer. Therefore, we recommend our BAF-to-Go products and our treats that are not frozen goods.

Frozen Goods

Frozen goods can only be ordered in a total quantity of 5 kg or more to ensure compliance with the cold chain.

They will be delivered in an insulated thermobox with outer packaging, designed for 5 kg, 12 kg, or 26 kg of frozen goods, which ensures compliance with the cold chain for at least 72 hours.

For all shipping methods except DHL Standard, additional dry ice will be included.

If the goods arrive slightly thawed, it does not represent a quality loss or defect. You can easily refreeze the items or feed them directly to your pet.

 

Self-Collection for Business Customers

As a business customer, you also have the option to collect the goods yourself on Fridays between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM. The address is: Ackerstraße 4, 19348 Perleberg.

Note: Orders must be placed by Wednesday 11:00 AM and have a minimum weight of 100 kg!

 

Delivery via DHL Maxibrief

For certain countries, we can deliver non-refrigerated products cost-effectively via DHL Maxibrief. This shipping method is only available for the following products:

FAQ

Can I have the goods delivered to a parcel locker?

Yes, but please note the following package dimensions and weight of your order and check if the shipping provider delivers such packages with these sizes and weight to parcel lockers:

Up to 5 kg: Width 40 cm x Depth 30 cm x Height 17 cm
Up to 12 kg: Width 49 cm x Depth 37 cm x Height 27 cm
Up to 26 kg: Width 59 cm x Depth 45.5 cm x Height 40 cm

Once the package is delivered to the parcel locker or if the shipping provider refuses delivery due to the package's dimensions or weight, we unfortunately cannot take responsibility for the package.

How should I store frozen goods?

All our BARF products should be stored at -18 °C in the freezer and thawed in the refrigerator for about 12 hours without packaging or with sufficient air holes before feeding. Serve the meat at room temperature.
